Administrative Law of Afghanistan
Administrative law is a branch of public law that focuses on the organization and activities of the executive and administrative bodies of the state. It covers matters including the establishment and powers of administrative institutions, the limits of official authority, the implementation of laws and regulations, administrative decisions and actions, public services, and relations between public authorities and individuals. Within the legal framework of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the 2004 Constitution provided for both central and local administration and divided public administration into central and local administrative units. It also provided for the transfer of certain powers to local administrative bodies within the limits established by law.
